Of Monsters and Mountains

We have had another successful Tier 2 adventure atop Table Mountain. On Friday, September 22nd we traveled from sea level to elevation 7,280 feet for a weekend of fellowship and fun in the forest. The crew battled dragons and other creatures. Some crew lost lives and had to reinvent new characters to continue while the adults faced their own foes. As the sun began to set, it was noticable that the weather was considerably cooler than the previous August visit but once the sunset winds died down, the evenings were fairly pleasant. With two adjacent campsites, we were able to easily have space for the youth and the adults with a combined large camp kitchen area for dining. On Saturday the Crew enjoyed a mid day hike and ended the evening enjoying s’mores, a warm campfire, some Jiffypop, and playing Dungeon Mahem.
