Who’s controlling the future of our Crew?
The Election Results are In!
Last night we held our 2023 elections. For those who were unable to attend, there are still some open positions so contact your President for details.
We look forward to what the new leadership will bring to the upcoming year. Please congratulate these venturers on their new positions of resposibity and keep in mind who to contact for upcoming events and questions. Position and descriptions are below:
Crew President: Jason
Jason will work with the other officers to ensure that the Crew runs smoothly. He presides over Crew meetings and works with the Crew Advisers and other adult consultants.
Secretary: Astrid
Astrid will keep track of attendance and records meeting minutes. She is responsible for Crew communications in the form of newsletters, emails, phone trees, etc.
Quartermaster: Gabriel
Gabriel is responsible for ensuring that the Crew has the materials and supplies for their activities. They will keep an inventory of supplies and records of who supplies have been loaned to. They will also keep the equipment in good working order and helps obtain new equipment as needed.
VP of Program: Björn
Björn oversees the execution of Crew activities. He recruits and supports other Crew members who plan and carry out each activity. He will regularly survey the Crew members to learn their interests. He keeps a calendar with activity dates.
VP of Administration: Graeme
Graeme takes charge of the Crew when the Crew President is not present. He also is in charge of membership and recruiting. He tracks advancement.
Treasurer: Hunter
The Crew Treasurer maintains the Crew financial records. In some situations, he or she might be responsible for maintaining the Crew checking account and writing checks. The Crew Treasurer collects dues and keeps track of Crew member accounts. He or she works with other Crew members to organize fundraisers.
Guide: Open
The Crew Guide is an experienced Venturer who helps new members learn about the Venturing program and become active members of the Crew.
Historian: Open
The Crew Historian keeps records of the Crew’s activities. This can include taking photos, making written logs, or maintaining a Crew website. The Historian might also determine how to store or display memorabilia.
