2024 Pacifica Camporee – Pixar Mania!

As our first year attending the Camporee as a Crew, our venturers were determined to do their best and spent several weeks leading up to the event discussing costuming plans, practicing skills, designing and creating their very first camp gateway.

We arrived on Friday and after setting up our tents, the venturers set up the gateway.

With a Pixar Theme, the crew decided to show their Scout Spirit and dress in Pixar movie inspired costumes.

Meals and Game Time at Camp

Graeme was our best looking grubmaster and made the camp feel like we truely had a personal chef. Astrid made a great sous-chef and all the other venturers took turns cleaning after meals. Saturday afternoon we enjoyed some camp game time followed by the campfire activities where Crew 42 performed the classic Dynamic Director Debut Skit but with a Pixar twist. At the award ceremony, we received 6 ribbons including Graeme’s top shot for best overall at shooting sports and Best Overall recognizing our achievement in Scout Spirit, Campsite, and Campwide games.
