Duncan lands in the Eagle Nest!

We congratulate Duncan Jones on achieving the rank of Eagle on May 6th, 2020. Duncan is a founding member of Venture Crew 42 and reached Eagle Scout through Troop 788. He bridged into Troop 788 as an Arrow of Light Scout in June 2016. Since then he has camped 97 nights, hiked 27.4 miles, and provided over 265 service hours. He has earned 50 merit badges and 5 Eagle palms. He received the National Outdoor Achievement award Camping segment and completed Trainer’s Edge, Introduction for Leadership Skills for Troops, National Youth Leadership Training and the National Advanced Youth Leadership Experience. He has served his Troop in the leadership positions of Den Chief, Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and currently serves as Vice President of Crew 42 and Instructor for Troop 788. He was on staff for Greater Los Angeles Area Council’s Camp Cherry Valley and was recently inducted into the Order of the Arrow Lakota Chapter.
