Committee members and even unregistered parents <u>should invest their time to attend it</u>. Unlike your previous experience in the younger phases of Scouting (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, the various levels of Girl Scouts), Venturing is a much different program. Yes, it shares the same three goals as in all of Scouting: Character, Citizenship, and Fitness. However, the methods are very, very unique and are NOT the same as the others. Go to VLST and find out!
