[Don't Panic!] Backpacking Trip Info.

Crew,

 

Below are some updates in the planning of the Backpacking Trek next week!

 

Location and Dates:

Marmot Pass is our trek, July 23rd-27th 

We will start at the Dungeness trailhead and end at the Big Quilcene Trail.
Details on trek and campsites will be posted soon.

Activities:

Kodiak Leadership Skills Course - Will be led by Mr. Murphy and Zack Turley
(Assisted by Melissa Warren)

Backpacking of course! :P

Other fun activities such as cards, camaraderie, and the "backpack pushup
challenges"

Meals:

See attached document (Express any other ideas and concerns to Robert

                - You are responsible for your own Mess Kits!

                - Cooks will be assigned for each meal necessary
(responsible for Cleanup as well) 

 

Costs:

Costs are estimated to be around $75 per person. This covers park passes and
meals. In addition each participant is responsible for one meal on our way
back on Friday.

 

Transportation:

We will have drivers drop us off at the initial trailhead and pick us up at
the end of the Trek. I have had several adults offer to drive however I need
firm commitment. Please respond asap with the seating capacity of your
vehicle. Thank you
