[Don't Panic!] Service Above the Crew Level

Last year in Area 1 (that’s us: AK/WA/OR), there was only ONE candidate for President and ONE candidate for the 3 VP positions.   Last year, the candidate for the Chief Seattle President ran unopposed, too.  Candidates for this upcoming term cannot turn 21 between 1 June 2013 and 31 May 2014.

 

Eligibility for Area President or VP:

Current or past crew presidents and above (e.g., district VOA president, area VOA vice president) are eligible.  The eligibility list has familiar names to our Crew that include Zach Frost, Avalon Roe, Zack Turley, Melissa Warren, Sam Golden, Kyle Stroh.

 

For Council VOA President:

Current and past crew officers and above are eligible.  Familiar eligible names to our Crew include Zach Frost, Avalon Roe, Zack Turley, Melissa Warren, Sam Golden, Jeanette Murphy, Rob Karren, Trevor Neault, Nat Walker, Chris Zantek.

 

There presently is no District VOA, but one could certainly be started for the West Sound.  The composition of its officers apparently have no prerequisites, so any of you would be eligible. Applications for National offices applications are due February 1st, for Region offices they are due February 15th and for Area they are due March 1st. Start thinking about it now and apply soon!
