Dear Venturers,

Out service project is only 2 days away and we can still use your help. The
more help we have, the faster it will go for everyone. Let's get the word
out to those who haven't responded yet and encourage them to go. I will
bring water and some snacks. I really need another adult who can be there
from noon to around 4:00. Here is the current schedule of volunteers:

Youth:
Trevor Neault: ?(after band gig) to end
Sam Golden: 9:30 to end
Nat Walker: 10:00 to end
Jeanette Murphy: 9:30 to end

Adults:
Mrs. Zantek: 9:30 to 12:00
Mr. Turley: 9:30 to 12:00

Our Messengers of Peace Service Project will take place Wednesday, August
29th on Maine Street in Kingston. The project consists of planting a
bioretention swale in front of the Kola Kole County Park. We need to arrive
at 9:30 AM and the plants will be delivered around 10:00. We will do a
little weeding first then we will layout the plants and start digging and
planting. It's estimated that a crew of 6 should be able to accomplish the
work in about 6 hours. The more we have the faster it will go so let's get
the word out and encourage all available hands to attend. Your help is
needed even if you can only attend for part of the day.

Please bring a lunch, water bottle and the following tools if you have them:
  Work or garden gloves
  Hand Trowel
  Hand Rake
  Round-point shovel

The most important tools will be the gloves and hand trowel. Please respond
to this email with a "Yes", "No", "Maybe" and the hours you will be
available to work.
