Well, they did it again...fell in a ditch and came up with a grand piano!  With almost no notice, Crew 42 was asked to put together a kayaking/canoeing activity at American Lake as part of the 2009 Washington Jamboree, August 20th through 23rd at North Fort Lewis.  Congrats go to Brody, Jake, Genco, Eric, Jeff, and Conner, who provided safety and operations briefings to all participants, skill instruction, dock services, and lifeguard duty for WashJam participants who braved the lake.   Even after they completed their service and secured the lakeside venue, the Crew was "volunteered" to act as the Camp Commissioners on Sunday for over 4,500 Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts, and other Venturers.   Please click on the Photo Album for pix from the event.
