Congratulations to Zack, who earned his Venturing Outdoor Bronze Award and was recognized at the April meeting.  To qualify for the Outdoor Bronze, a Venturer must complete four of the eight Core requirements and two of the eighteen elective requirements toward the Ranger Award.  For his Core requirements, Zack chose Standard First Aid, Leave No Trace principles, Land Navigation, and Conservation.  His electives were Backpacking and Physical Fitness.  You can find those requirements listed on line here.  Zack, a junior at North Kitsap High, is a member of his school's Band, as well as the Soccer and Tennis teams.  He's trekked across Philmont Scout Ranch, and is the Crew's current President.  He will attend Evergreen Boys State in June and was selected as Washington's Eagle Scout of the Year.  Zack's is the 11th Bronze Award in the Crew.
