Medical Forms (updates required yearly)

Forms A & B are required at Registration and yearly Re-registration. C forms are for events over 72 hours. If going to a BSA High Adventure Location, please check for specific forms.

Registration

BSA Youth Application
Applications are now online.  Please attend a meeting and have your interest interview prior to applying.  This ensures you understand the theme of our Crew and confirm it is a good fit for your interests as well.  If you are new to BSA, please click here for the direct link to our Online Application.

For those already registered in BSA, please sign into your My.Scouting.Org profile, click on Menu, My Application and select your active registration from the "Transfer/Multiple/Renew Applications" page, if you are keeping active in your Ship/Troop, select "Multiple", otherwise, select "Transfer" to move your current membership to the crew.  After selecting Multiple or Transfer, you will be prompted to enter your new unit's information.  Select Crew and from the drop down menu, choose 0042 and follow the prompts and fill in your BSA ID number and information to submit your application request.

BSA Adult Application
Applications are now online. In order to maintain BSA Youth Protection, A minimum of 1 parent per household must submit an Adult Application and be registered with BSA in order to volunteer or be around any scouting events. If you are new to BSA, please click here to fill out our Online Application.

Youth Protection Training (yearly renewal required)

Pacifica District requests that we renew our Youth Protection Training yearly. Please use this link below for instructions on how to take the training. Be sure to email your certificate of completion to your Committee Chair. Due to recent system glitches, please take a screenshot of your completion page and email that as well.

Scoutbook – for Tracking Participation and Advancement

If you are a parent and do not have access, contact your committee and request a log in.
If you are a scout and do not have access, have your parent invite you by signing in, clicking on their scout's profile, scroll down to edit profile, and click to invite scout.  They will need to include an active email. Please do not use a school email as you will hopefully be active beyond high school.  You will be sent a link to access your Scoutbook profile.

Training

BSA Online Training – My.Scouting.Org
Click here to access My.Scouting.org and sign in to access the online training modules including your yearly Youth Protection Training (YPT) certificate renewal.

Introduction for Leadership Skills for Crews (ILSC) is a 1 day course offered yearly (as needed) by our Crew Leaders.  It is important for new members to attend if they want to hold a leadership position.  This course helps to teach leadership and group dynamics. Click here to view the syllabus.

National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is usually multiple day course that is usually taught at a Council facility by youth leaders within the BSA organization.  This training is for youth looking for the next step in leadership training and to further broaden their leadership skills within any BSA unit.

National Advanced Youth Leadership Experience (NAYLE) is a multiple day course that is taught at Philmont or Betchel Summit and is for scouts between the ages of 14-19 who are looking for hands on team-building and leadership skills training.
